...really? It is not a ranged KD. It is a non functioning melee KD on a useless squig pet that dies as soon as any order look in its general direction.

Which is what every white lion says about their pull...

But yet the WLs can pull off any pet it has out, not some bullshart one that fart rainbows and unicorns.

Good thing it's difficult to hit a function key to switch from 1000BS/600WS to 920BS/600WS/+5%crit and EyeShit.

Willing to admit that squig rkd off of frank the tank squig is an l2p issue. But with that said,

I find it extremely difficult to adequately use. First, it is a terrible squig pet (gives nothing over gas and spike). You would need to farty explode an existing squig pet in combat to insta cast frank the tank pet. Then you'd need to have him charge at the target and then manually bind the ability of the KD to a key and have it not automatically fire until you commanded it. With loyal pet that may be possible (but from experience with the white lion taunt command it is extremely buggy).

But even still... the setup and execution is just blah and if you're chasing someone down it will never work since frank the tank won't outrun someone already running away at range.

However, the SW on the other hand. That is basically an on-demand 1 sec cast rkd. They just aren't even comparable.

Yes the white lion pull is inferior to the mara but it still doesn't suffer from the same execution issues that this squig rkd does. (you already have the pet you need out... and you have a pretty good ability yourself that isn't mirrored on mara (pounce))

I see alot of threads discuss rkd and extended range for squigs..but seriously - they are never used. You basically use only gas or spike. Very very rarely do you execute the other two.

Then again - maybe its a l2p. The truth is, someone with masterful micro ability could still make it work. Yes it will require 10x the skill as using the SW ability, but in theory, it could be done.

Yeah, those function keys work pretty well for using pet abilities (like KD). Well that's class mechanics for ya. Pet class is a pet class. Stance class is a stance class. Don't act like your pet does nothing.

cc re balancing, if you are going to do it, can't start and stop with eye shot.

If it is mirrored, the squig ability should definitely be renamed Eyeshit though with a pink eye init debuff.

I don't disagree that the SH pet KD is pretty difficult to pull off. But that is poor implementation that should be fixed. WL pull is basically the same problems (except for the different pet types - that also has its pros i.e. ranged pets). Pulling on the WL basically didn't happen unless you had speed training slotted during a war camp farm. Both pet based cc could probably use a better implementation.

Re: pounce - what does the marauder get in place on their tree? Not exactly hard done by.
