Possibility of wipes has kept me from farming or grinding in this game. Thankfully devs have made end-game gear vendor purchase for the most part which honestly allows me to follow Sigmarpriest's wishes and just play and enjoy the game. Even with mediocore gear I can put up great damage and scores. Others will always have more than me, but I devote 95% of my time to RvR which is amazing.

I would continue crafting and experience it, but don't try to get rich off it.

I think like Mez for all the other reasons. It's T2/T3 I think to myself, Why bother maxxing out my gear or talis.. tomorrow they will be sub par. I maxxed out my Scavenging, am near Max on Talisman making, and my alt is +150 in Salvaging and it's all been done slow and steady without having to AH Gouge or worry. If they wiped everything tomorrow, I wouldn't have anything I couldn't re-buy from the RVR Vendor .. only my SC shield would need to be replaced.

The community is too small to have 5-6 people with unlimited gold at/in any tier. A wipe is necessary and not doing it just puts everyone in the same position (if not mindset) as Mez and I.

Please dont wipe mats. Some of us have spent days worth of time cultivating. I think gold would even be unnecessary. The fact is that in order for this economy to work there have to be people who have insane amounts of gold. They will use that gold to buy gear, spreading the wealth. And the ones that don't don't affect the economy. It's quite simple trickle down economics. Because no one accumulates interest and there is no capital gains mechanic the 1% won't cause any problems. If anything it benefits the population as a whole.

I have started playing 4 days ago and I am close to having grinded my Cold One. I am not sure I'll keep playing if I lose hours and hours of grinding quests and NPCs!

It was said in the aftermath of the last wipe that in any case where the economy has been compromised through use of an exploit, the following would hold true:

- The exploiters would receive the blame for creating the situation, not the devs for having to act to fix it
- Whatever steps are necessary to take in order to fix the economy would be undertaken.

Please if you have to wipe gold, let new players keep 10g. I am *that* close to buy my Cold One I worked my arse off

I'm sure tiggo.. you have no family... job... friends so when someone takes time out of their life and is deemed guilty by association and their time is indeed wasted through no fault of their own... I wouldn't expect you to understand.
