Can’t speak to the ST builds because I never use them outside of solo roam, both classes are on an even footing for AoE. Choppa has pull, Slayer has ID. One is utility and one is damage.
All the destro on here are severely understating how game changing a wb full of choppas spamming AoE pulls has been.

Just because they are mirror classes does not mean that they are created to fight with each other.

Choppa can only dream about what slayer can, and slayer can dream about what can choppa.
