To add to that, surely as the server is still heavily in development ppl would understand things will break and **** will happen. I lose items from the mail bug and from server crash but **** happens and my items are not by any means important to the bigger picture and any time i spend, gold or items i use/trade etc may be pointless down the line, if only others could see it this way.

Why can't you see simple fact that there wasn't lvl 14 cap in original game, because WHO must have cap 12 for T1 and thats it. If you don't care about balance you must understand that you are breaking core mechanic for temporary what...fun of few individuals ? What the hell, is it alpha test still ?

Sulorie wrote: "Original" caps were bad as you had little choice in which tier you play. More options for the player, more fun.
Thats plain nonsense. Even if you dislike it, WHO was designed and balanced around Tiers and if you will break them you will break part of the game, damn it.
Mythic screwed so many things with that damn patch and crappy rats, its amazing to see someone who likes their "changes".

If you want to remain at level 12 and be ravaged by gear loss because of some blind adherence to the ideals of pre-1.4 WAR, then be my guest.

However, there's a fundamental question that needs to be answered here.

It was stated that Return of Reckoning would default to 1.4.8 handling unless otherwise decided. That means the new tiers, and it also means that lv15 is the cap.

Would you like to tell me why this should be exempt?

1. I didn't see gear loss on my WP and I'm too lazy to check other chars because I don't give a damn about pixels, I vote for Wipe.
2. WHO is best at 1.3.6-1.3.8 and thats it. When we was at Dyox server people just confirmed that.
Everything post 1.4 is just...well you know that smelly word.
Soo I imagine that most of the players don't need 1.4.8 because obvious reasons. So maybe you could decide using common sense, I looking forward for it.
Also you can avoid shooting at your feet :]

There was never a better lower tier balance than past 1.4 as every player can decide where to play, because of overlapping brackets and enough time to gain renown to make rr-differences a non-issue.
It is so easy, there were only a few flaws, which are fixable without a doubt.

I didn't make the decision to say that we follow 1.4.8 - that was the understanding that was given to me when I first started as a player on this server. Nor do I pass any judgment regarding the "1.4 killed the game" argument. All I'm saying is that claiming that lv12 cap (it was lv11, actually) is the only way that T1 can possibly be, when in actual fact the live game ended with a cap of 15 in T1, is clearly a contradiction, especially given the declared intent of this server to follow 1.4.8.

I don't mind seeing chickens with levels 12-15 in T1, not at all.

There wasn't any balance at all, when char with higher than intended level (15) going into T1 thats exploiting of game mechanic and nothing else. Originally Mythics designed these tiers for a reason. Then after this terribur 1.4 patch game was so successful it spiraled into its grave and here we are praising mythic's worst changes.

I think the vote shows what people prefer quite obvious. There will always be a very loud minority which is against something and the argumentation becomes an endless circle-jerk with no outcome whatsoever.
When would such a thing be implemented anyway? Azarael stated that it was only a thing that he thought of and no official statement.

For the love of god, where is the imbalance, when all are level 15, with or without bolster?!
What game mechanic? Cleanse is rank 16, so not even this is an issue. Some classes get armor buffs, wow, when you could use armor potions.
You still fail to recognize what was bad post-1.4, like many more here.
