Natherul explained it already. If damage would be mitigated for more than 75%, the mitigation is capped at 75%. Then comes armour and resists mitigation etc. Your toughness is not reduced by any amount.SmackdownNinja wrote: Sat Dec 22, 2018 3:25 pm Regarding the change to toughness, how much toughness does 75% equal out to be? Also as a BG with around 1200 toughness I don’t ever get hit for 1s unless it is another turtle SnB tank. The issues seem to stem from somewhere else imo. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and for continuely working on the game we all love.
Toughness was the worst stat on live servers. It did only one thing were every other stat except Wounds, had a secondary function, and if you had more dps bonus reduction then attackers attack bonus reduction the remaining stat points did nothing. And even with monsterous amount of dps reduction from toughness instant skills like WoP/BB would still crit you for almoast full vallue. The only time it was usefull was to negate a long cast skill like Doombolt or Fireball, which hare so rarly cast due to immobillity of long cast. When AoE's aswell changed to only have 50% benefit from attack bonuses means toughness got even worse. However, my thoughts was always adding a secondary effect to it rather then boosting it's damage reduction and that function would be crowd controll time reduction.
