But all 6 mdPS classes have access to Riposte. I don't see the problem; if you are getting owned by a Riposte-spec enemy, make a Riposte spec of your own.

And Riposte is useless against ranged classes. So i guess it is only an issue against tanks, melee healers, and Assault SWs. All those are pretty good soloers so... meh.

Was there really an ICD tho? My memory of live days fails me on this one and the evidence attached to the bugtracker post about it is not that convincing.
I'm pretty sure I had Riposte proc on things like both of Sacrificial Stab WE (Flail, Furious Chopping-into-Slasha and a few other) hits into Untouchable in duels but that was like ages ago and I could be just imagining things at this point.

So you suggesting everyone just specs parry heavy and runs riposte and then every 1on1 is decided by who gets most parrys and thus riposte procs?

Ladies and Gentlemen we have a winner here: Witch Hunter!!!

No one talks about range classes here, they dont matter in this issue. You see i wanna have some variation, people trying different aproaches and not 99% of the WH on the server running RB+Riposte and while you cant attack them during RB you die to BaL. With the broken riposte tactic, most of the 1v1 comes down to backpaddling and riposte abuse. WOW such skill.

Fortunate for us that noone cares about 1v1 when talking balance.

Riposte is completly overperforming in anything between 1v1 and 3v3.
If it has no effect on 6v6 upwards, then why not fix it?

I don't have any issues with WH being that good in solo play/1v1. That's what they are meant to be. You should be afraid of WH/WE if you are soloing in the lakes.

you shouldn't ask for changes balanced around a scale even more irrelevant than 6v6 is these days :lol: :lol:

Since dot changes, you could always get lucky and parry that final BaL hit. And if you have Riposte specced, then maybe your riposte proc on that parry will kill the WH.

(let WH have their things, you could always just kite them since they have no sprint)
