Eks, it looks just like the Destro's trophy from what I've noticed

Well first of all, thanks for the great event.... i had a blast. And lets be honest, the feeling of a great fighting force was worth a few lag ( well as I played on a laptop it was merely one lag, from the begining to the end.^^) I also have to say I dont need those trophys to be honest. The only critique I would made is, that they were distributed in a way healers had almost no chance to get them. That seems a bit unfair to me for the people who need such things. You could circumvent that perhaps ( if possible) by giving everyone a epic title who participated like companion of the Highking or Big Un of the Warboss or something like it. But I guess, such things would only be possible with client control, right? Well I really anticipate the next of those epic events.RyanMakara wrote:This was one of the first major RP event done on the server, coordinated on both realms, you expect everything to be 100% flawless from the get-go? The T4 RvR release event was highly enjoyed by many people, even without a reward. They were mostly caught by surprise due to the lack of announcement.Dresden wrote:Is that it? really? i want the last three hours back, oh so much continuous unplayable lag...NoRKaLKiLLa wrote:Trophy recieved for killing enemy lords
But hey it's my fault for even showing up right? i should have known better!
It's a shame the devs didn't tell us we had to kill the lords to receive a trophy.
Hell it's a shame they didn't post the event a week in advance instead of a day.
I know my limits, i'm gonna avoid large-scale events from now on.
Good job! woo! yay! and such.
I'm sorry to disappoint the 'majority' of people by not giving them all a reward, or keeping the way of doing so obscured. This was pretty much a test to see how many people would be interested in fighting in RvR alongside legendary characters, with a unique king's trophy as a reward for the lucky few. Considering the turn-out on both realms, I say it was a success, and with that, I cannot hand out 400 unique and exclusive trophies. If people desire an earlier heads-up and more details to the event and its rewards, I will learn from that and take it into account for the future.
For now, you should be thankful I went through the effort of arranging an event on a scale such as this. It was obviously too much for the server to handle in the beginning, and the lags that persisted during the event might have been a buzzkill to some, but it seemed no different to me than the regular zerg encounters. The effects used may have contributed to the lag as well. Again, we will learn from this.
For now, there are still 8 people on Destruction who can claim a Trinket of Thorgrim Grudgebearer. I will see that all of those who were eligible for a reward will be blessed accordingly. For the rest of people cricising this event for the lack of a reward or info; duly noted.
We learned a lot for future events thats for sure. But for a first event im going to call it a blast and sleep well now. GnZhentarim wrote:Good:
Grumloks stealth missions that made people get away from the lagfest in the middle.
Bad:
Thinking that rewarding people for killingblows on the lords was a good idea.
Btw were destros trophies really suppose to look like that? it looks like something an order would wear. Would've made more sense to have Grumlok reward his loyal soldiers in IC.
Ah dont worryNatherul wrote:Hopefully I just fixed that for you... sorryDalgrimar wrote:Tried to fly to Praag from KV but after loading screen i fell trough the ground following some huge wall and than landing in some sorth of chaos waste.
