I'm OK with that. It may be ugly, but it's a price i'm willing to pay. Currently, if your target is running away, you just can't lose those seconds to put out a turret, it would make Eng/Magus more viable, which is great.
Either that, or make it insta cast, either one will help tremendously.

It's a tactic slot way better used for something else. "Fixing" a class issue with a tactic isn't the best option.
Especially when Redeploy 50% of the time doesn't work properly and makes your turret go to narnia.

If there's a tactic slot which makes deploying instant cast, I can simply make the tactic buff a passive, if you believe that buff to the classes is required?

I believe it would help. Eng/Magus could use a better studying to see what the class really needs.
But considering the Redeploy current problem, I see that as a good solution, even if it is a placeholder.

Thing is in 1.4.7 or earlier the engie got buffed with a damage bonus around his turret.
The only Problem is, that you have to stay near to it. And when you are attacked while on the move there are two possibilitys. If you have your turret you have a chance. If you Need two or three secs to build it you are dead.
Instantcast as a passive would really help on that regard.

Wouldn't it be better to leave the tactic as it is, but make the +20% damage while near your turret be applied immediately instead of it taking a couple seconds?
Just asking what do you think. I don't play an engi.
