I know where you are coming from Az, but sometime you cut your nose to spite your face... and the two wrongs don't make it right. In the end, 10 other people in that instanced scenario now suffer a defeat because two had issue.

Anyways, devil's advocate on this. It's a slippery slope.

It's a matter of changing the environment. Most people adopt a simple, selfish approach: because they suffer if one member of the team isn't getting heals, but they don't suffer if one person absorbs a load of abuse from someone else, they will tar both parties with the same brush to protect their own self-interest. It is this that I resent - sacrificing justice for convenience. If the result of being an arse to one healer was that you'd receive no heals from any of the healers, we wouldn't even be having this discussion.

I think the lack of heals would turn them into even bigger cunts.

Not from spawn, for most of the scene at least. And not only BO but everyone who needed healing.
Healing can be overhelming on a t2 siege, without group heal, and wb members simultaneously dying on different floors. On scenes it's enough to keep a hot on everyone in your field of view and you'll do ok. Not great, but ok. Nothing difficult in this.

Also: as a tank, may I go afk on sc if someone insults me, or privelege of being offended is reserved for healers only?

Healing is difficult mainly because you have to watch for yourself, your entire team and everyone on the enemy side. You have to know who goes where, if someone is out of los you have to know where he went.

Now if you are sitting for 12,5 minutes pushing one button and then saying healing is easy good for you, I actually smiled a little bit. Also I don't want to be mean but that am did more healing than you and more dmg than your sorc. He's the one who has full right to brag about his deed. You have a lot of room for improvement to achieve what he did.

Being afk on sc and not casting guard at 1 person are two completely different things. Stop being irrational. Every post in the last sentence you add something completely irrelevant.

And tanks don't need to do anything like that. Just guard a dps, set yourself to autofollow him and you'll be good. And yes, 10 lvl am who made a bit more damage than 7lvl sorc and a bit more healing than 2lvl zealot is a real pro, how he even managed

I totally agree with the original post. I rolled a dps AM back when I first started playing in 2008 and have seen how much abuse gets dished out. Play how you want to play. When I got my AM upto rr70+ I did end up respeccing to full heal because I started to enjoy that more and I kindof sucked at dps when it came to the highest level. I have played with some awesome dps AM's tho.
When it comes to the most architype to play- they each have different challenges. It is possible to casually heal by just spamming group heals; as a tank- you can just guard a dps and click "follow player"; personally I think single target dps is hardest to play cos the success of your team depends on your target selection and picking the right targets in a group or Zerg can be very challenging.

Well, since healing as healer causes so much negative emotions I cannot imagine playing healer class as a dps.
