Group heals are an essential part of the game for RvR and keep defenses. Its hard to heal a whole party when there is aoe damage going on. Should we turn off all AOE as well?

I had 100RR AM (heal spec, yeah) on live and have an AM and RP here. I believe heal is unbelievably OP.
AOE damage? Yes, maybe, we should.

I love how people have from the start of this game back on the pay servers, cried for nerfs to abilities that hinder THEM, as a solo player, from getting kills. Like the game should be adjusted so that they have the upper hand.
Getting rid of AoE heals? Really? Let me guess, then you on your AM or RP would just blaze through sc's racking up kill scores and stroking your epeen! Right?

Damn must be late because i tried reading what he said and it was a pile of nonsense.

i would love to see some altering to backline healers grouphealing. There are situations where you are forced to spam gheal which is quite moronic gameplay.

Make gheal some high hp group hot with initial trick with 4 sec duratation, with 5/10 sec cd so ppl can use their other healing abilities instead of spam gheal that proc everything. Similar change worked pretty good for dok/wp why not change gheal spam for backline healers also

No. Without AoE heal all damagers with AoE will have carte blanche to :| anything just because damage >> heal. I clearly saw it on t2 with my priest. It was the elf keep, and our WB tried to assault it 50 min. Crowd WB against crowd WB. Destro side has a bunch of sorcs which crushes us with shattered shadows. We couldn't do anything. In that moment I had 20 lvl and aoe heal. Since they relied only on aoe damage, we could mitigate damage and wiped the keep. We had 1-1.5 WB, they have 2-3 parties.

However since exp/ren nerf of healers, I think there will be far less healers, just because it is hard and boring to train them (=

lol. The game is ballanced around dpsing trough consistant groupheals. That is what healdebuffs are for. Game gets crazy unballanced without it. rdps would get completly broken. And tanks and mdps would be unplayeble. In short. Nothing would work properly. This is a really bad sugestion.

And some aggressive assumptions made. Can't think out of the box, huh?

My suggestion deserves some testing, at least. Without heals WaR turns into fast-paced, more tactical game, where coordination and personal skill become very important. Nothing like boredom.

I bet, few have such experience. Sadly.

Thing is - without heal Sorcs can be easily taken down.
Means determine end.
