Mist is an aoe spell, not dot. Why it should'nt be stacked? Like Pit of shades, like cascading.

1) Ground-target spells of the same type didn't stack on live.
2) Dissolving Mist explictly states in its tooltip that it will not stack:

8494 Dissolving Mist
Summons a cloud of caustic mist that deals 99 Spirit damage every 2 seconds to targets within 20 feet of the summoning point. After 10 seconds the cloud doubles in strength, dealing 199 Spirit damage and 10 seconds later will double in strength again, dealing 299 Spirit damage.
If there are multiple Dissolving Mist in the same area only the highest level mist will deal damage.

You really don't want Engineers able to stack our napalm on top of one another. I have a whole guild full of engineers and we would wipe warbands in seconds :P

It should not stack. If it did, then it was a bug. I don't remember seeing multiple mists on top or next to mine, but since it did apparently stack then it's good that it was fixed.
