But as soon as I re-enable all the mods, the game crashed.
So I Cut- paste all the mods out of the file and relaunced the game start crahsing again, hopes are lost....

Dont mess with the files Just put files where they need to be(re-check files through torrent) and get on the field sir!!
P.s.I think its a W10 issue...if 7/8/8.1 doesnt have a problem

I'm on windows 10 and I am currently getting a black screen after clicking the connect button. am currently redownloading through the torrent but I was trying to see if there was a workaround in the meantime. Ive had RoR on my system since before update and I hadn't played it since I updated (shame on me ) wanted to get down on some pvp and got this black screen stuff. Halp

So I ended up on my old rig, which could from some reason launch and play RoR flawless.

W7 - with directX9..

At least I can enjoy the nostalgian again.

Hey maybe one of these will help you:
-run war with windows 7 settings ( right click war.exe -properties-compability)
-update graphics driver
-download direct x 9 from microsoft (or steam or elsewhere)
-somehow disabling the option " hardware prefetch" in my bios made the game run much smoother (do at own risk!)

I've got the exact same problem on Win7, unchecking the "Read-only" tab is useless since once I'm out of the properties menu it checks itself back automatically, I also managed to creater a character by randomly clicking in the dark and my game also crashes in the loading screen without any error when trying to log on with said character, I downloaded the torrent, extracted the launcher, downloaded DX9, ect ect. I'm clueless as what to do now, anyone got any more ideas?

e: I also tried switching compability modes, running stuff as admin, literally nothing works, this is how it looks while in the videosettings tab http://i.imgur.com/KzbMhOw.jpg
e2: fixed the read-only issue, doesn't help though

Sry for the "maybe" stupid question, but: Are you Admin on your PC?
Also i got a question to the devs: Are there a 64bit and a 32bit version of warhammer?

Nope, there isn't. They work on both 32 bit and 64 bit Operating systems anyway.

Yea I already checked that too and no problems there, as of now I've downloaded the game twice again, once through torrent and once in parts and neither will work, I've given up, too bad
