I am 120% on board for forgetting the pity tick / medallions reward for defending a keep even if you lose for another plan that encourages people to get out in the ORvR lakes when the zerg is strong.

But so far all people have suggested is people change their attitude or force them to join a large guild or try to get people who already don't want to group up to group up.

Can we have some actual ideas?

he means to get some, even temporaly, disadvantage for the loosing. Like it was on live with old city sieges where u get different penalties for allowing the enemy to sack your city.
Frankly i cant remember afking at wcs back then at the begginign of war

Cause keeps had 1 ramp, and there was pulsing defensive ticks. Best days ever.
Word of Pain and Boiling Blood are no longer able to proc anything. The Bright Wizard College has confirmed this is a big deal. (stealth nerf)

lose a medaillon, lose renown. Diablo ONE style ;)

(or less harsh: malus on renown/xp/medaillon gain for xx minute after loosing a zone).

You really want how it was towards the end on live ? where ppl would rather afk at the wc waiting for freebies instead of fighting, no ty.
Totally agree with Morf here. I remember very well people callin out in realm chat 'pity tick inc t3 empire' and within a minute you'd have about 20-30 people standing in front of the warcamp before everyone went their merry ways again.

If you want to change orvr in it's current state, introducing pity ticks does fuk all. Make keep defences more attractive (i.e. soldier medals), that would include workin postern doors, and possibly BO fights.

Maybe some sort of live event(s) would help too.

i already said in another thread: wee need ideas to make a keep def (and keep take for that) more strategical, more fun.

Pulsing defensive ticks were a great thing, and I would support their implementation.

See there we go. So we have ideas now. Guess I wasn't to far off with giving medallions for defending :].

So far people like:

Pulsing defensive ticks
Medallions for defending (I would suggest medallions for defending regardless of winning or losing. If we have it only for winning I think you will find a situation similar to what we are in now. However, you get more medallions for winning than losing).

And what we don't want is:
Pity tick just for losing

What else do we have?
