pugs are not loosing only becouse of this, BUT it is much harder for them to win also becouse of this. If u never claimed main assist at sc and never talk to ppl to assist you /which some may do/ it is your lost. That can turn the tide of the sc and sometimes that happans. Well it is doable vs crappy premades but still good to beat them with 4-5 decent pug players.

Getting the assist command back in the game is imo the moast important thing right now. Like i've mentioned before. 4 out the 6 tanks are very dependant on it. Especially when solo queing. I have a really hard time figuring out why they didn't. This is a big downer for me since i used assist macro both on my main tanks and healers.

Why should a healer use assist macros?

As a new player I curious what is "assist" and why is it important. Please someone enlight me.

it's a way for players to target the same enemy, and it's important to focus some key enemys down

I found out that disabling effects (visual option) on everyone helps a LOT. You can easily click on your targets this way.

Less eye candy, but more effectiveness. Ill take effectiveness.

For melee I'd suggest keybind target nearest to something within easy reach.

Lifedrain Heals, Debuffs, Targeted Morales to name some things. Try playing a ranged class and targeting the same thing as your tanks When there's 12 enemies blobbing up.

Assist is when you target trough another player so you get the same target. Why its so important for non Kotbs/chosen tanks is coz they often wanna guard a melee dps and stack up debuffs so that mdps does more dmg/takes less dmg. Kotbs/Chosen mechanic is a AoE so they arn't really affected as much by this making em the only viable tanks in the game right now. Also ranged dps likes to assist target trough melee dps as they usually have more clearer targeting in a big group of enemies. Assisting is a huge part of the game and they just left it out. And from my understanding they are now focusing on PVE content instead of key mechanics in the game.
