5 medallions is way too much as a reward for chain farming scenarios. Open rvr will die because zone locks only give 0 or 2 medallions. This will make this game like every other mmorpg out there: an instanced pvp boredom. Warhammer Online has unique open world rvr concept that this change will utterly destroy. Please either rework the rewards of area locks in open rvr or decrease the reward of this kill quest to something like 1 or 2 medallions.

With a good premade, you'd get about 20 to 40 kills in a scenario. You'd still have to do at least 8 of them to account for missing race kills and losses against better premades. Also, you have to hand in the quest again to get your reward each time.

I'd rather have people fight each other for the sake of obtaining RvR gear than zerg a keep for only 2 medals. The 2 medals per keep only WITH defenders is too low considering a full set of Devastator gear costs 285 medals. Scaling it up to 5 will make Devastator more widely available; something I don't see a problem with if new players need to gear up to compete in RvR.

It's going to be the only way to get medals at least on NA, RvR is dead during those times. With how things are now I think it's fine. Once RvR is fixed and people actually start participating in it then you could argue that the quest is too much.

I think I played for like 5 hours last night on my bw and got a whopping 20 medals, it's pretty much impossible for people except no life neets to get into full devastator which for a lot of classes is a huge bonus.

It's still 150 kills which will pretty much amount to less than 1 extra emblem per sc you would of not had.

But you also get extra drops from scenario kills. If you go in a warband you will roll against 1/24. In scenarios you double the medallion chance + get instant action with 1/12 or even better odds on top of the kill quest reward. This is too lucrative and "easy way out" option for farming the Devastator set.

I agree 2 medallions is too low for area locks and that's why 5 is over the top from kill quest unless they change the area lock rewards as well (or lower the kill quest one). I have no problem with people gearing up faster, but if it means empty rvr lakes that is not what I'd like to see.
