Launcher problem

Hello! i donloaded the game with torrent (link provided from here) and launcher with chrome. When i run it i can't connect and i keep getting this:

If i try to run WAR.exe i get Critical error that says: Warhammer cannot run direclty. Please run Warpatch.exe to patch and launch Warhammer.

After that i tried to run Warpatch and i keep getting this:
The patch client was unable to update the file [C:\Games\Warhammer - Age Of Reckoning\warpatch.bin]
(0 total error encountered). Please ensure the game is not already running and there is free space available on the disk.

After that i have no idea what to do. ( btw the game is not running in the background and i have more than enough disk space)

The offical war.exe patches no longer work, so only use RoR launcher.

Make sure read only for the entire game folder is unchecked. Make sure the torrent application isn't running at the same time.

You might have to move the game folder else where to remove any previous applications access to it (which would prevent the user from disabling read only).

Then run the RoR launcher as administrator, and it should work.

OK, i dont have torrent running and i cut/pasted the game to c:\warhammer - age of reckoning folder.
i runed as administrator the RORlauncher and i keep gettitng :

tried warpatch (as admin) again and critical error again :/

I have the original disc from back in the day, should i delete the game, install from my old disc, download the RORlauncher and try again?

i hope i not much of a pain hehe

Something is preventing the launcher from getting access to key files of the game. Most likely is the "read only" function. Right click the game folder and go to properties. Uncheck read only and select include sub folders.

You only need to use RoR launcher to load the game, nothing else.

The game files from disc won't work. It's outdated and not compatible with this emulator.
