Population issues in racial t1 pvp zones started when everyone was forced to start in Nordland. Before that elves and dwarves always had some little pvp going on.
True, the T1 PvP lakes in Dwarf/Elf had plenty of activity in them even when everyone was forced to start in Empire. I was moreso referring to the lack of population in each race's starting location when the population declined; making it hard to do quests and PQs when you're one of the only few people in the starting area, making the game appear bleak and dead from the start. Thus, everyone was forced to start in Empire, so that there'd still be a sense of life to the starting players. Also, Nordland was deemed the most popular pairing at the time due to the ease of warcamp-to-warcamp PvP when they removed the Lost Lagoon BO.

Exactly. Forcing players to start in nordland was a desperate attemp to unite the last remaining players in 1 zone. But now we don't have such problem. While t1 isn't as populated as t3, it's far from dead. I have 3 toons there, I know. I'm sure t1 has enough people to support 3 pvp locations instead of just nordland... Which, lets be honest, feels just too tiny and overcrowded even for 1 wb vs 1wb.

I don’t see what the problem is, pvp has rolling warbands that go from zone to zone so there’s no need to change starting zones for that and while emp may not be that large elf and espically GvD are large enough for WB v WB.

Pqs don’t work so you don’t need to get grps of players together, if you want to just quests then you can just jump from zone to zone via flightmaster and just run around and do quests

If it matters that much to you after you make a toon, then you can just uses BoB after you get control to go to the racial starting zone

Saying that its not the same makes no sense to me

Everyone forced to start is nordland is just killing all immersion in the game. By forcing player to start in nordland mythics just robbed the new players of their first hours experience. That music, setting, quests... so much lore. But you probably won't understand. You started playing the game after mythics made these changes, right?

Not really. It's true that there's almost no players who never ever tried WAR, but there are many, many those whos "try of the WAR" was 1 hour of trial 5 years ago. For them this game is like new.
Would be the same for me if'd try LOTRO now :)

I understand that you have no interest in this and have said just use BoB. Well the same goes for you.

Granted this isn't a big issue in getting the game restored but it would be a nice feature to have.

you can always take a flight master
So? It's not the same.
 I know what you mean, but it is important to do our best, NOT to put pressure towards the developers, I mean this is a huge project... and I believe we still have to wait a long time, until all is like in the former public servers again... except for the payment 8-) You CAN rush over there as well... like you ignore ANY, or most of the Imperial (or what ever non-your faction) quests until you arrive a fast travel spot (the taxi to the 1st chapter of home is pretty cheap by the way), so prevent to be "too high leveled" for the eraly chapters of HOME SWEET HOME. ;) But I'm honest, I want a unnecessary unique race introduction as well :? :P
