As I mentioned in this thread, fixing the way loot is handled in the code is a higher priority issue than fixing the way any individual mob drops gear. That being said, there are some easy changes to make which can alleviate (not fix) the problem in the meantime.

Without giving away numbers, you are statistically supposed to get 1-2 drops per kill, though they are not (and currently cannot be made to be) faction-specific.

Pick one:
  • Bind on Equip with a lower drop rate (<1 drop per kill, not faction-specific)
  • Bind on Pickup with higher drop rate (2-4 drops per kill, not faction-specific)

yes let greed and capitalism be the bringer of all our alt appearance needs

1000g+ for a BG BQ helm....

But can the lair bosses be changed to give no exp so that you wont accidentaly level out of t1 if you kill them? cause you need to be lvl 11 more or less to kill them but its annoying to have to leave the party everytime just before they die so that you dont get exp

that would be a great change, BoE! I'm sick of the fugly helmets we have at this point haha, and never had time to camp the BQ boss since I'm trying to level my alt and get out of the purgatory the early PvP is :D

Capitalism isn't anything new keke. Plus a lot of magus helms will go to waste if they make it BoP.

1-2 drops per kill, we do get that. Only thing is, they're 'useless' green items. Be they Bloody gear or unusable seeds. The blue items, as my anecdote said, only dropped in 1 to 7 kills.

BoE with <1 blue drop per kill, by which the <1 equals a 50% chance for a blue instead of a green. One green guaranteed per kill would still give T1 players a nice item every once in a while, while the 50% chance for the green to be a blue would be the main reason to do the lairs.

Also, please don't just do this for the Bandit Queen helmets. The Lady weapons are sought after too!
