Yup some of the tables are not the same as on live , I`ve never worried about extenders from butchering, as i`ve always had a culv alt make the Taunt Gobswort.

However used to farm Scorpions and giant spiders on live for armor scales and toughness mats , killed a lot of boars last night and yep they do not drop extenders.

Scorps here still drop armor scales, however spiders no longer drop them.

killed a few of almost everything on the list , and from what I can tell the list is correct except for Boars not dropping Extenders still have couple mobs left to check .


Eagles, Vultures etc while they worked ok back in Feb, I haven`t been able to butcher one in any zone since early March.

I have some ideas to push to make butchering a more attractive option...

In the meantime, butchering results are based off of a creature's SubType. If you butcher a creature and it does not give the right mats, it means that either the right type of material has not been added to the butchering table for that SubType, or it means that creature was given the wrong subtype.

In either case, it's a bug. Please report it on the tracker.

gore (and goldweed, it's cultivating equivilent) actually provide a side bonus to crit/multi chance along with the stabilizing so they're always preferable to resin actually.
