Oh look, another thread where destro is bitching and wanting their classes to be buffed more than orders.

If you want buffs, have the buffs be game wide and apply to all classes.

The problem is that the classes are not straight mirrors and have aspects of several classes combined together. You can't just buff BG and think it will be in line with the IB, it wont.

I said, many classes in this game are not 100% mirrors. You can't do a blanket buffs / nerfs because it's more complicated than that. Many classes intertwine.

What did that have to do with ANYTHING? If you're implying that I would be stupid or ignorant because I was a kid, you'd be very wrong. I've met kids that have superior intelligence than some people on these forums, who I could mention.

And you sure did. I responded to the rest of your nonsense, which had already been adressed, which I pointed out. From the looks of it, you probably just skimmed over the OP post and then decided to rage about how you didn't completely agree with him.

I read the entire post clearly and some things were not entirely correct and some were but my point still stands. BG's are far and away, way tankier than IB's, which is how they're supposed to be built. (Look at some of their speccable tactics). That if coupled with blanket buffs would seriously imbalance the class. If you buff one side, you have to buff the other (Give IB Super punt). Which no order is advocating for. The majority of people on these forums bitching about class balance and blanket buffs have been, by and large, Destro players.

The point is, you can't just outright buff the BG without buffing several order classes to compensate, which would in turn, create a large imbalance.

Clearly, you're not stupid and understand what I'm saying, so why advocate for such non-sense?

I Can 100% agree that SM (by a larger margin) and BO need buffs but to say that BG needs a buff is ridiculous. BG and IB are perfect where they are at. They don't do ridiculous DPS, they are tanky enough, and bring great utility.

Did you know I've played Order for several months on this server, and just recently switched to Destro? We are talking about maybe 2 weeks ago. And even if Destro is whining a lot, so what? Would that not tell you that something is probably simply imbalanced? How can so many people be misrepresenting the truth? Are they all liars and dishonest? I think there's something about it. Now, many of them are clearly exacturating, but still, I think there's something out it. This even fits perfectly with my experience of live, too. As you said it yourself, the classes aren't perfect mirrors. So if that's the case, don't you think it's irrational to think that the balance is perfectly mirrored?

Buffs are needed if classes are indeed not up to par. Whateveer is needed to be done for the other side, have to be done. I don't care if it's mirror buffs, or buffs to other classes. All I want, is a balanced game, where both factions can have fun in almost all instances, and I think we both want this.

Thank you, but I don't think that you know what I'm advocating until now. All I want is a balanced game. And as I see it now, DPS BGs are underdogs, aka they need to be buffed. Now, I said "buff the DPS IB as well" to show that I'm not biased, or that I want the game to be balanced. It's not necessarily the right option. It's just one out of many, clearly.

I have never played a BG, so I can't comment on that. My experience is that they are really tough. What I'm talking about is the DPS BG, as I already pointed out. There's a large consences that they are bad dps tanks. They aren't on par with the other tanks, when going DPS. They simply can't put out enough damage for it to be worth it. I think this is a huge shame, not only because 2hander BGs are the lore-correct ones, but also because they are really badass.
