It's really fun to play, especially in t4.
Can't talk about WPs, but on my Dok i got bored really fast. Leveled a Zealot and never looked back, had way more fun.
I would be all for zealots if ap pots were a thing atm.

What is it that makes it that in the hands of skilled players rp/zel is better?
I've heard this statement made before and I'm curious

If you compare raw healing output, Zealot/RP > WP/Dok. What makes WP/Dok "better" is their survivability since they can easily facetank thanks to having medium armor and a 100% uptime AoE detaunt. They don't need to be protected that much by their tanks.
Zealot/RPs aren't as tanky as WPs/Doks. If the enemy melee train gets to you, you will probably die. You need to be much more aware of your surroundings and be good at pre-kiting. Bad Zealots/RPs fail at this and constantly keep on dying or asking for help from their tanks, making their whole group pull back.
Skilled Zealots/RPs don't need to be baby-sit, and they can easily (pre) kite when needed.
Also, as it has been mentioned many times, WPs/Doks may have nicer numbers due to their fast group heals. But in the end, when an ally is focused, Zealot/RPs are the ones that will save him.
AMs and Shamans can be excellent healers as well, but they require even more skill (for healing) than Zealot/RP.

You don't start kiting when the melee train is on you. You gotta start kiting as soon as you feel they are coming for you.
Pre-kiting is basically moving away from an enemy before the enemy is in range of dealing damage to you.

sure my zelly takes more dmg than my dok, but I feel like she can outheal most of it most of the time, even while being attacked.. what with her insta hot, insta heal, detaunt, bubble (all which can be cast on the move) then big heal, being cast stationary while my bubble runs out, then order leaves me alone and I feel kinda powerful.. sure the rest of my team might die, but not if order is focusing me
i do agree though that zellies have way more powerful heals than doks do, and that doks can be super tanky, but i think we must be talking end game on live. group cleanse was fun, but atm can't keep up.. i haven't had an issue with ap on the zelly, but soul essence and ap seem a little more often empty on dok, and i haven't tried a shammie past t2.. sorry, i'm racist towards greenskins.
sorry, i know this thread was about wp, but as far as i know they're pretty close mirror classes.
or maybe i'm not playing my dok right since i don't think they're easy mode? dunno
