Just to add, though it probably goes without saying:

Please ensure that all Pie submissions are pies you baked in real life!

A Reikland "meat" pie whose name is only murmured by the ne'er-do-wells in the back alleys of Altdorf: "Jempire Spy..."

Carrots, onions, garlic, mushrooms for an earthy taste
Stout ale gravy
Almond milk and maple syrup wash

Yum. Would eat, though I can't help but notice the lack of meat...

(This baker reached out in advance for permission to reference the guild, so all is well here!)

DA PIE OF DESTINY

Once upon a time, a very nice hobbit baked a beautiful apple pie.

Golden crust. Sweet apples. Lovely smell.

Da pie was so beautiful that even da most miserable RoR player would briefly forget to make a forum post about how da game is ruined.

Da hobbit was very proud.

And den...

DUNGSNIFFA BROWNFINGA ARRIVED.

Nobody invited him.

He simply appeared beside da pie, stared at it, raised his finger and...

TOUCHED IT.

Da hobbit screamed.

"MY PIE!"

Dungsniffa ran away laughing.

"HAHAHA! DA PIE HAS BEEN BROWNFINGA'D!"

Later dat day, a man named Ruby found da pie.

Ruby was hungry.

Ruby saw pie.

Ruby ate pie.

One bite.

Two bites.

Three bites.

Then his stomach made a noise that no mortal stomach should ever make.

And then...

FRAAAAAAAAAAAP.

But dis was no ordinary fart.

The fart traveled through time, space, and the Warp.

It crossed worlds, realities and ages that had not yet happened.

Until somewhere, far away...

HORUS SNIFFED.

He stopped.

He sniffed again.

And something inside him snapped.

Suddenly Horus was fighting his father.

Then he was fighting some of his brothers.

And before long, a whole bunch of gitz somewhere were having a VERY BAD TIME.

Somewhere far away Dungsniffa sat quietly, sniffed his fingar and da voices said:

"Dat waz a pretty good pie."

THE END.

Maggot & Pumpkin Pie of Nurgle

Image

Recipe:

•Gather a warband of your choice (preferable Nurgle followers).

•Plunder a village of the southlander weaklings to gather a pumpkin (in this case a sombra-pumpkin) and take at least one prisoner.

•Smash the pumpkin to a fine goo. Season it with the finest herbs and spices you could gather around the remains of the burned down village.

•Scrape off the face of your prisoner and lay it over the pie.

•Find the nearest Rotbringer sorcerer to bless your baked pie by the great grandfather.

•Let it rot for at least 1 month.

Enjoy your slightly mutated dessert.

Khazukberry Pie is a beloved Dwarfen dessert said to have originated in the mountain holds of Karaz Ankor, where hardy black khazukberries grow from cracks in the stone near ancient mine entrances. Legend claims the recipe was first baked by a Longbeard baker during a decades-long siege, using berries gathered from the slopes above the hold and sweetened with honey traded from distant allies. The pie earned its name from the battle cry "Khazuk!" after a band of Ironbreakers returned victorious and found the baker had saved the last pie for them instead of the hold's nobles. Since then, Khazukberry Pie has become a symbol of Dwarfen resilience, fellowship, and stubborn pride, traditionally served alongside ale during feast days and victory celebrations. Many Dwarfs insist that every proper Khazukberry Pie should be baked in a rune-etched stone oven and shared among kin, for a pie eaten alone is said to be a grudge waiting to happen!!
