+2 should be in Anni/Ruin/Mercenary 5pc set bonus like it originally was and 5% Crit at 4 pc bonus.
Ror and live are two different game so comparing them wont bring anything.Sinisterror wrote: Thu Aug 13, 2026 6:33 am +2 should be in Anni/Ruin/Mercenary 5pc set bonus like it originally was and 5% Crit at 4 pc bonus.

The bonus is either nearly useless or mandatory depending on the class and build. It feels bad when the points aren't needed. So that players who rely on it for their build don't lose out, add +2 specialization points at rr80.
It's most likely just gonna the same as it is now at 6pc bonus, assuming it stays, which I think it will, so there will be no "large" drop of stats, just one set bonus line. As there is no definitive cost for +masteries in the rules so they can just say it's +2 is magically worth exact allocation that sov has per set bonus as it is unique to that level of set anyways.Culexus wrote: Thu Aug 13, 2026 4:45 pm Given how the new set stats are calculated, I imagine the +2 mastery points will result in a large stat drop on any set they're attached to. Removing them opens up options for other bonuses and allows endgame sets to have a larger stat allocation pool to work with.
So In your opinion +2 Masteries is worth less that 77.5-79(idk what "setlevel" sov is considered guessing between 75-78 hence the range) stat points that the sov set bonuses will be? The poster I replied before seemed to think it would be worth more, funny how wildly differing opinions ppl have of it. I think it's pretty fair cost, could be free form points instead of tied to certain mastery per set sure.
Ofc that's not gonna happen, but what would you replace them with within the 77.5-79 stat point budget of sov set bonuses? Even though there are all kinds of OP stat combos that could exists on items and set bonuses within the new itemisation rules, for obvious balance reasons you ain't gonna get complete free pickings of stats and they are gonna look "normal" overall and even if every set bonus is now identical value they ain't gonna put the good stuff at 2-3pc now are they.Nisemono wrote: Fri Aug 14, 2026 8:05 am Here's a counter-suggestion and maybe a bit of a hot-take:
Remove the early (2- and 3-piece) stat-bonuses like +wounds,+str/will/etc. instead and replace them with something more meaningful. (read: something that isn't as lame as plain stats)
Thanks for remaining neutral in tone. Things like this can become pretty heated, when people fear their favourite xyz potentially becomes weaker.Keula wrote: Fri Aug 14, 2026 12:29 pmOfc that's not gonna happen, but what would you replace them with within the 77.5-79 stat point budget of sov set bonuses? Also plain stats are a thing that a lot of ppl want.
