I expect them to make engineer more mobile, as this was stated in an youtube interview by one of the devs.
In that regard, i'd like to put rocket boots and/or jetpack on the table.
Leap, charge and whathaveyou for the engi/magus!
In addition to this, i expect more constructs like keg and magnet to be faster or place-able like the landmine, maybe attach root on a landmine/demonic infestation as well to make the barbed wire tactic somewhat less useless.
And again, it would not be bad to have friction burn (cleaving aoe dot) work the same was as the aoe cleave dot for slayer/choppa which is to apply first tick of damage on application. Having this difference seems unfair and absurd.
And again, having the stagger from landmine break only when 5% of damage to health has been made would be a huge QoL. Then two people with the dame great idea don't cancel eachother out, ya know?
That's about it for me, but i'm sure it'll be a lot of fun stuff.
NGL i would main my engie if they would get some mobility. But please not magus. Magus is already raidboss. I hope they nerf magus, sh, sw and buff/rework bw,sorc, engi.

For my part, I don't expect much anymore, because hoping is the best way to end up disappointed, and unfortunately that's especially true on RoR.
That said, if multifunction ranged DPS classes like the Zealot or Rune Priest, which are clearly overpowered, can be brought back into a more coherent state, that would already be a step in the right direction. The same goes for the Shaman and the Archmage, which suffer from the same issue.
As for the rest, I hope for either a reduction in spell backlash/mechanics that punish casting, or a DPS increase for ranged classes, which currently have fairly weak defenses and don't seem to get enough damage output to compensate.

Eagerly awaiting the next "nerf into the ground" thread.

Before starting with mrdps rebalancing please look at mechs
1. Range checks on casts (broken)
2. The increased disrupt rates and bad synergies with casters long CDs
3. Added cc and snares for mdps - no added escape tools
4. Added cleanses (it will be a problem for anything competitive)
Just why bother bf this 1, 2 is ridiculously clunky

My hope is that BW and Sorc become viable in 6v6/city content. Unlikely to happen, but they should have at least ONE viable playstyle. For this they'd need some sort of defensive ability, frankly. Or some sort of mobility/ccbreak deep in one of the trees to get out of a hard focus.
My other hope is to see ASW become a bit more prominent as a spec (and have actual dual wield). Most likely it will only become useful in 6v6 as a result of the patch, but in an ideal world you'd let it work like a dps wp in rvr too - playable just fine, but not optimal, kind of thing. MSH for example is usable in both contexts

Im very afraid what they gonna do to engi/magus as it wont take much to make them absolute nonsters (even more so that magus already is)
I would like to get the AA/castime synergy back to engi. The 4s aa rifles were godsent to class that has access handcrafted scope and thunderer. It popped Auto attack after each gunblast making it worth the stop and shoot.
Now as its 3s aa speed on most rifles you lost the dmg per hit but didnt really gain speed as the abilities anyway take the 2s to build

My
personal comparison between ranged classes at this time:
Bright Wizard & Sorcerer (they are close to equal):
Single target dmg: very good
AOE dmg: very good
Mobility: low
Survivability: low
Shaman:
Single target dmg: medium
AOE dmg: low
Mobility: good
Survivability: good
Archmage:
Single target dmg: medium
AOE dmg: low
Mobility: low
Survivability: medium
Runepriest:
Single target dmg: medium
AOE dmg: medium
Mobility: low
Survivability: medium
Magus:
Single target dmg: very good
AOE dmg: medium
Mobility: low
Survivability: medium
Squig Herder (ranged):
Single target dmg: good
AOE dmg: low
Mobility: good
Survivability: medium
Shadow Warrior:
Single target dmg: very good
AOE dmg: very good
Mobility: good
Survivability: medium
SW is the all round winner now, especially in quick hands.
Who places SW single target above squig herder? or indeed describes their survivability as 'medium'. Their builds generally take the -120 toughness tactic and +10% chance to be crit tactic. Nothing is squishier than they are.
You have given Shadow warrior the same supposed survivability level as a magus. A class that does not need to stack weaponskill and only mainstat crit, and so can invest in futile strikes, and that also gets a free 240 wounds and 160 toughness.

Shaman mobility since run away downgrade is a myth. Shamans and AMs are pretty equal on that regard nowadays

I dont think any of the healer archtype specs will be included in the RDPS patch, as their dps specs were touched on during the healer patch iirc
