Have you spent renown points on weaponskill?

I try adding +23 WS talismans into all of my armor and weapons, use the "Don't wanna live forever" tactic and the best weaponskill I can get is 600+.

This will help you. You have to select Renown, etc. but you can 'pull in ' characters by entering their name to see the equipment. Helps you compare and build before you make any investments.
