My two cents regarding WE's (and WH's) kit:
I think both classes kits have gotten more and more overloaded since torque started experimenting with them back in the days.
- introduction of leap
- introduction of snares (outside of throwing dagger & pistol shot)
- introduction of restealth (and speed buff)
- stealth no longer breaks if the we or wh are spotted and attacked
- introduction of 30ft finishers for WE
This is on top of an already very strong kit that has goodies like 100% parry/dodge/disrupt and dmg immunities. A knockdown, an undefandable stagger + self punt, 2 heal debuffs and armor ignore.
My personal experience is that it has become very unrewarding to fight these classes to an extend where i consider some of their escape and mobility abilities unfair.
I dont believe stealthers should be able to leap, sprint and snare that easily and mythic has been very careful not to give them access to the mobility kits of other mdps - on RoR however they have it all.
Edit: my feedback regarding slayer and choppa: I think they should have less/no drawbacks staying in yellow

Welf leap should be removed,and the new aoe skill shouldnt require frenzies, it should build frenzies. And do i remember this wrong, but ranged finisher's were added in Warhammer aor? it was not RoR change if i remember correctly.

Witch never had ranged finishers on aor iirc.

TheExtra incomming dmg from all sources under "yellow" for Slayer and Choppa made em so squishy playing the calsss is now counted as pointless. All the intresting/cool changes u made to Tactic, some skill and such are just made completly bland and non effective due to this one change u did. Cant convince me to say anything positive about this so called rework to Mdps aslong as this in effect, class just got killed and it was already bottom tier.
Tought a rework actually came with new options... no not at all. Just overall worse for SL/CH

Its just means Choppa>Slayer. I think the gentleman wanted to say Slayer, but he didnt want to be seen order biased.

It means that Order players prefer playing either WHs and rDPS rather than serious WB compositions. While mDPS train is still meta on destro and Choppa outshines Marauder and mSH. Choppa certainly isn't better for WB than Slayer, because Shatter Limbs is insane both in offense and defense.

Jokes aside order is simply outnumbered most days lately. Also destro has more organized wbs normally. That is why.

My memory was that the ranged finishers change was made during live, so I took a few minutes to go see if I could find out.
I can't find the specific patch where it was introduced, but looking at the available abilities database from WarEmu - which I believe was taken from 1.4.8 - finishers were definitely at 30ft range when live ended.

Would you mind to share your WE build? Now my witch is almost 40, i'd like to go ST.
Using this for my WE. He's rr72 and only in vanq + sentinel mix. 1050 str, 32% crit, but little else:
RoR.builders - Witch Elf
Open with Vehement Blades for the +10% crit bring me to 42%. Then its Agonising Wounds spam + Sac Stab. 6k crests saved for 75+, plan is to drop Brute Force tactic at that point and instead run either Frenzied Mayhem, Swift Pursuit or Taste of Blood.
My WH is a bit more geared rr81, but only 5 piece Sov so no +2 spec points, so runs this for time being:
RoR.builders - Witch Hunter
Once I have 6th piece of Sov, I'll be grabbing Repel Blasphemy and Sanctified Oil. Playstyle is to lean on ranged options post opener. Open with Burn Armour, stun, Torment, BAL. If I'm fighting a tank or mara I'll then take range, spam 1-2 accusation Absolutions which Flowing Accusations helps you to maintain and Incendiary Shot is there to plug in additional ranged Absos where Flowing Accusations didn't proc. Blessed Blade with spamming low accusation Absos keeps up the 25% armour pen buff so those 1-2 accusation Absos still crit for like 1.2k from ranged (heavily dependent on target's armour - less on tanks of course). If I'm fighting something squishy, then I just face tank target (or de-snare + sprint if against a SH etc).
