Why avoid playing regen? You're ignoring the meta if you go glass cannon, play a WH if you want to burst people down, WE is about dots/lots of tickle damage with good defenses. If you want WE to burst like a WH then huge changes would be needed to balance that out.
Jesus man, no offense but this is maybe the worst take ive seen so far xD.
Regen WE is a weird off spec, it is extremely unwarranted to balance a DPS class around it.

I dont agrree with you, old RA build was very good in dmg vise. each RA was critting around 1.2k which means 5k in 3secs. WE had more burst than WH before.
You assume they are high crit, wont get parried or blocked. So many people are stacking armor and or toughness.. without the armor pen from insane power ya got a noodle move. Plus its 5ft range.

Ah ok, never tried RA spec, went straight def on my WE. I see the RA changes in patch notes, how nerfed is it as glass cannon spec? 1.2k per hit before to what now?

Feel you man. Just stoped play WE. I play WH. Range abilities for melee dps is insane. My condolences to ppl who don't understand it. All WH finishers usfull in diffrent situations. It's fun to play, have diffrent tools for difrent situation and use my brain cells to do right choise between them to get profit. I don't need jump becose I have my gun and I just shoot heretics with it, no reason jump on them at all. WHs have one minus they do not wear bikini or they hide it under jacket.

So basically the 2 finishers where the WH has range and the Witch does not is Absolution and TbP. One is a single shot and the other one is a fanning shot series.
The 2 mirror finishers are a single dagger STAB and a series of STABS.
In contrast to that you get
- a finisher, that you can layer above every other following 6 attacks
- main class mechanic procs that are not bound to finishers
- several movement speed boosts
- an unmirrored leap
- Bikini

WE just needs to fly... well, it already has the pounce most similar to WL... I see that the entire dest has something from the order, but the order doesn't always have from the dest...

That's a great site and proves something I've always suspected. Destro has pop advantage in T2+, but Order gets more kills than Destro in the lakes. Always felt Order is more dominant in T2+, good to see this hunch is correct. Debunks the morons talking about Destro being the stronger realm, clearly not the case, Order owning it.
