I think users get the greatest variety of appearance if there is NO T1, T2, T3, etc restriction on appearance. I mean every tier equipment changeable to another is the coolest variety solution. Waaagh!

I was really disappointed when I found out other players can't see it. Completely defeats the purpose for me.

As far as I know, there was some idea to implement alt-appearance work cross-faction as well. Don't take my word for it 100% as it's completely out of my reach, but there's a glimmer of hope for you

So it seems that you can wear a specific gear and alt its apearance with another item which can only have a lower Level.
Or so I Understand it.

ye cross faction appereance system would be awsome, also why enemy should know what im wearing? it would bestter anyway to have it at work so that they would not know what ppl are wearing.

I really think it'd be beneficial to make it so everyone could see alt-appearance. It removes the point otherwise, and does harm us roleplayers however small our numbers are. I realise there are some valid gameplay concerns, but I think those alone shouldn't necessarily override the cosmetic and roleplay reasons for implementing this.

its planed for cross faction the items that other players see on you are send with a different packet i didn't have time to look into that yet focus is to get culti apo ready first
the alt appearance was just a small gimmick that i could fix correcting some issues on the build item packet
