Zealots dmg is highest it has ever been atm. (Atleast for all the years I've played it). The double channel came pretty close to the dmg we have now but it does come at a cost of lacking defensives.

Im currently testing a bit different style of zeal who mainly hard casts stuff but atm it doesn't work nearly as well as my current build does.. will do more testing to make it better in the future (I hope xD)

This is a bit outdated. Atm dps zeal dmg is not much shy from the magiis dmg.

I think they are in a good place (I’m very biased btw). The damage is strong but they lack cc. Punt has a long cd and you need to spec into stagger giving up some dot damage which is their bread and butter right now. Get caught with your defensives on cd and you are as resilient as a paper bag

Anyhow, I think dps zeal is a bit too overtuned dmg wise but I also look at it from solo pov (mainly atleast).
If the idea is to make it "viable" for any org content then it likely is in a good spot but Im not sure if any proper 6man group would still take dps zeal to be one of their 2 dps xD

For wb play I think aoe zeal is good (I think it already was before the patch), it has good kit for wb and the aoe dmg is pretty decent.

could the embrace the warp be disabled when harbringer is on? Atm I feel that its single most potent trick on Zealots arsenal, and its pretty simple to bury under all sort of stuff so it wont get shattered. Zealots bust combined by half the dmg received is a winner combo by itself, not including absorbs, heals and whatnot

But in all honestly embrace is likely the biggest factor why zealots are such a good "dueling class". Downsides being, its fairly long cd (3mins), it can be shattered, if you use it poorly its just gonna be insta shattered and then you have no real defensives left.

Zealot is always at the top in my books <3 I kinda enjoyed the "weaker" version more tbh.. the current version reminds me too much of sham playstyle.

Isnt all zealot buffs same type? If so, you dont need tp even bury it, as there is nearly always some buff in front of it

Thats what i thought as well, until once "embrace" has been shattered by a spell-breaking slayer (after the default buffs have been shattered) xD

Nowadays I personally throw a quick cordial HOT (or at the very least fortitude buff, depends on the severity of a situation) before applying "embrace", especially so when fighting WHs & slayers, lesson learned ;p
