Those never surrender noobs are really annoying. Just wasting time trying to backcap just to lose once enemies notice points while busy farming kills.

If it as about weekend scenario, I mean, understandable. Thing is, in serpents passage, if the enemy team "dominates" you can be at 480 and won't win :) As they only way to get points is delivering the objective or making kills. > Getting stomped rules out the kills part and they can easily deny you the objective too, as there is only one spawn.
Therefore, if it looks like 1kill vs 23kills, yeah, 10:59 surrender time, destiny.

For Twilight Tides, scenario requirements are removed.

objectives mean nothing if you capture them while leaving your team to die and then you subsequently get run over by the enemy team after they're finished killing your teammates then you lose anyway

always go for a full team wipe (or at least force a full retreat) before trying to play objectives or you are just griefing yourself and team. the rewards for farming kills are almost always better than winning the SC itself, the small crest and renown bonus for winning is significantly worse than what you get for being up 10-20 kills instead
The objectives should be clickable and not a long slow cap. The fact every sc is just a go mid and blob fight till win is a factor against them

thrawn18 wrote: Tue Jul 22, 2025 4:47 pmI swear there are players who join scenarios who vote to surrender when their side is winning.

Those players who do so care nothing about winning the scenario. They only care about getting kills, and everything and everyone else can be damned.

At one time in the history of this server scenario mechanics meant something. Utilizing scenario mechanics to win a scenario meant something. Those concerns are now dead, another victim of the god-all-mighty kill board and a by product of the 'blob' mentality.

To wit:

nocturnalguest wrote: Tue Jul 22, 2025 5:24 pmDear thrawn18, being registered in 2017 you should already know that "winning"/"losing" a scenario is actually a matter of kills/deaths ratio.

Not exclusively so. Or, at least as stated prior, not previously the dominating or only concern. Accomplishing the scenario mechanics has always yielded the greatest source of victory points. Or at least that was true until the scenario que-system was changed to punish the solo and/or casual players. And I use that term purposefully.

thrawn18 wrote: Tue Jul 22, 2025 5:35 pmIf the score is 375 to 120 in Serpent Passage, and there is a player running a flag in, then it matters if people surrender. And this has happened more times than I can count. I play for objectives and not just kills. Otherwise there should be zero objectives in scenarios and just have a free for all.

Well said.

thrawn18 wrote: Tue Jul 22, 2025 5:35 pmWhat is your next pathetic excuse?

My sense is it will be something along the lines of 'you suck, get gud, I'm better than you.'

Oh, wait!

nocturnalguest wrote: Wed Jul 23, 2025 7:26 amMy excuse? You miss something boy, wasn't me creating a thread full of tears clearly showing that you havent figured how things work within 8 years. Send us killboard links with examples...

Sometimes this is all just too fracking easy.

Yes, it actually is. And now tell me, what do you think is better - a harsh reality check or juggling words like you always do?

Okay, this thread is now a toxic wasteland.
