Coordinated channel drop means ussing heavy hitting abbilities like: wrecking ball, bring it on, git to the choppa, whirling axe ect. The idea is to make do much dmg in time that your opponent wouldnt be able to recover. You can add immunities to enemy addon to see if its good moment to call channel and not be interupted.
"Healers hide on aoe" is shortcut. Sometimes when your warband will fight with someone and also hited from the back safest spot for healers will be in aoe dmg of your warband. Its risk calculation but you got the impresion. Sometimes new healer players stand still and take frontal hit when the best idea would be just move to their DPS and hide in their firepower. Maybe i dont write clearly but you got impresion.
Move left/right - simple, the direction and position where you want your warband to be. Sometimes you wish to position your warband in optimal way( especialy backline) and ask them to move left or right not just unga bunga forward
You can see morale progres in enemy addon- dots on health bar, and you can changes IT into number for ex. M1 by changing visual parts.

Re: Being a good Warband leader without a microphone
Bellows is the tank M3 that reduces outgoing dmg of opponents, it is essential if you are fighting against higher numbers. If you can start trying to build to m3 before pushing and work around Bellows, you may find more success in fights. Talk to your tanks about who uses it when.Hakker wrote: ↑Mon Mar 24, 2025 8:00 am So many comments—thank you all, I truly appreciate it! I have a question and would also like to share a bit about my experience:
I already use the Autoban addon. It’s a fantastic addon that I highly recommend if you lead a warband. I also tried the Warband Leader Helper addon, but I didn’t like it. I prefer not to click with my mouse, as I find it much faster to use the keyboard. However, I did like the text color feature. I’d love to use just the text color functionality, but I haven’t found an addon that offers only that.
Now, for my questions:
Scragmuncher: You mentioned a "bellow call." Does that refer to tracking the morale of the warband to coordinate a morale push? If so, I’m already doing that! That’s why my rule states not to use morale unless I give the signal.
Jajcek12: You mentioned "channel drop." I’ve heard about this before, but could you explain exactly what "channel" means in this context? Also, what do you mean by hiding on AoE for healer? Lastly, I didn’t quite understand the bit about moving left and right—does that refer to flanking in a fight, or is it something to use when moving the warband from point A to point B?
Thank you again, everyone, for your help and insights!

With Auto-Kick turned on or off?

Re: Being a good Warband leader without a microphone
Thank you again for answering my question. It gave me some good ideas for macros, and I really appreciate that
Martok: Regarding your question, yes, I use auto-kick for certain levels or when there are too many of the same archetype. The only exception is the Guild auto-kick, which I turn off because it kicks a random player.

Re: Being a good Warband leader without a microphone
Looks like a good set of commands to me, though god knows how you have enough space on your skillbars for all of them! My few little comments:
1) I don't think you should micromanage your main assist. Healers aren't always the best target to hit first. I would just try to trust your main assist, if they're high enough rank then they should know what they're doing.
2) If you're using autoband to enforce your 8-8-8 composition, it automatically sends out recruitment messages, so your own message might be redundant.
3) I would separate your challenge rotation and the DPS channel. You're gonna want to call for your big damage dumps much more regularly than you'll need a challenge rotation.
4) Magic resist macro feels redundant. That's something that gets taken care of during the buffs/guard/potions call.

Re: Being a good Warband leader without a microphone
Hello, Anstalt,
Regarding your question:
1- Yes, I know I micromanage, but please consider that I manage warbands with players between levels 20–40. Some players don’t know how to guard, use private messages, etc.
2- Yes, half of the message might seem redundant, but the other part isn’t. This is because Autoban only sends messages to the region, while I send messages to both the region and T4.
3- You might be right about that point; it’s just that I’m trying to save some buttons, haha. I’m starting to run out of space. However, I’ve evaluated the cooldown of the channel, which is around 20 seconds. That’s why I use Challenge only on tanks in parties 1 and 3.
4- Similar to point 1, some players don’t know how to buff correctly. For example, I’ve seen an Archmage apply a magic resist buff, a Rune Priest apply a magic resist buff, and then a Knight of the Blazing Sun use their magic resist aura—all in the same group. When I see that, I see wasted potential within the group. To me, ensuring each group has a magic resist buff is the bare minimum for optimization. I hope that’s clear.
Thank you for your feedback!
