Its not hard to implement and there are few classes that has "hidden" shoulders in one way or another. There used to be a few bugged appearance items with missing textures for shoulders. those got systematically fixxed. So i would conclude from that, that it is clearly not intended or wanted to disable shoulder visuals.

Yes please! More options for customising the appearances of our characters is good.

Badlands. Kind of in the middle of the map is a path that leads over 3 bridges from rvr to the pve dwarf chapter. Start from rvr zone next to the island. There is a dead orc close to a watchtower. Click it. take quest. Click again. BOOM invis glove appearance.

Now head over first bridge into pve. Go to next bridge. Under that bridge is another hidden bridge. Either drop down on the right side of it at the start, or drop down at top left. Click dead orc. Take quest. Click again BOOM invis shoulder appearance.
