however the physical classes ( need to stack weapon skill) do need to sacrifce an important set bonus if they want to use shimmer chest since they are more starved when it comes to the itemization ( superior itemization of magic classes) but the wl chest still has regen on it and provides the important set bonus for these tank classes.

Furrul just to be clear, I'm really trying to figure out, are you intentionally trying to prove that you don't have one single correct idea about builds, stats, or equipment of caster classes in the game?

Regen magus highest set with toughness set bonus is dominator. Ok, there is no way that you could intentionally call it "superior itemization of magic classes" without it being pure trolling.

Very are many solo roamers on the order side. Unfortunately, it's not supported by destro who tend to bunch up and even run boxes as full wb's. Save for an occasional regen chosen or a lowbie box runner, it's hard to find a solo destro player.

Also it must be mentioned, it is not supported by order too, just to be fair, you know you chase lvl 16 solos with your 6men with your white lion its totally fine, just please dont act like it is one-sided Cheers.

The hypocrisy and ignorance in this game's community regarding regen is amazing.

No hypocrisy, and the public's opinion is clear as a summer day. Roaming a tank with full regen, with so many defense and damage options? Well then don't be surprised that no one wants to fight with you, no one respects you and no one takes you seriously - it's a completely normal reaction. And if one day the developers decide to weaken/remove regeneration altogether, you'll be the first to run away from the server

I only care about having the respect of my guild members, which I'm sure I have.

It's hypocrisy, as almost everyone uses some form of regen or self healing, they just don't like it when they're the ones on the losing side. Even the OP uses regen right now on his black orc (right now he is using warlord chest and boots, which grant regen, and regen pocket item, which he could replace for other pocket items, but he chooses regen).

There's also ignorance, as some people think that by just having more regen than their opponent they will win fights, which is simply not true, and when they lose they whine about other things supposedly being broken, like block, beards, dwarfs, etc.

i can ues dps build go 1v1 .but i dont want ..you play dps wiil let gank gourp kill you. i care my k/d..if i want dps .i will play my chopa 10000/700 k/d for solo.i will get fun. i play pvp game dont want get gank

That's an excuse imho, you will get jumped either way if you solo roam and get killed by equally RR superior numbers. (2-3)
But at the same time, power is intoxicating and the only reason why i see people can still defend REGEN is because they are to afraid to plunge into chaos and truly test their skills, since ''they might DIE'' in 1 vs 1!

It could be related to the removal of the number of deaths on the killboard. Now that players know they won't be judged for their k/d ratio, it opens up more build options and players are more likely to engage in fights they may lose. This game is so much more fun if you don't care about dying.

I'm surprised how solo roaming becomes a thing again because not long ago (maybe 4-5 months) if you stated that you play solo in this game, people almost crucified you for this because "this is team game yada yada".

There's a difference between solo roaming and playing solo. Solo roaming you are deliberately avoiding other players on your side in RvR to be on your own as much as possible. When players say they're playing solo, they normally mean that they are queueing solo for sc or zerg surfing. Scs (other than discordant) and RvR fights are designed for group play.

Gank groups are indeed a problem, or more like the renown gained from killing low rr toon with group. I've been planning to open discussion about it as well. Not long ago we roamed with rr85+trio and ran to some lone chap r2x. He did give over 1k rp to each of us.

Thats something really should be looked into, to remove the incentive to hunt soloplayers with 6men and encourage to join the fights with equal numbers

Most of the time I'm solo and almost always fight against 2+. When I'm grouping, our group is always outnumbered as well.

You have missed the point. Its not matter of having regen. U really cant avoid all the regens as BO (for example) its more matter solo roaming with build which deals more dmg versus builds that are only made to avoid/negate/regen the dmg opponent takes. While slowly grinding the opponent down. Other words builds that are made to survive rather than fight.

@culexus SMs hit like trucks. I have got my backside handed to me several time by crit specced SMs. Always been good fights tho. And always stood a chance
