Thats what im getting after i try and log in, if anyone know how to fix it please help me out.
May i know how u resolved it? i got the same problem. I DL'ed the game client with torrent but don't have the patch 1.4.8 atm. Do u know where i can DL it? May it help? Thx in advance!
If you download through the torrent, then you have the newest patch already.

I loaded the game and everything works but i get to a screen that just has the 4 button on the bottom and it says im running 1.4.8 patch.
I have no button to click otherwise.
I have a black box to the middle right of the screen where text and or the play button is suppoed to be. I have already gone through all the files and unmarked them as read only.
Thats where i am right now. I dont go to the character selection area, i just stay on the very first screen of the game with the arch way and steps to the left, i dont go over to the area where the classes are standing.

I have exactly the same problem as well in terms of no option to create a character etc. It does state version 1.4.8 as well in the bottom corner.
I'm also getting this error message:

Performance Counters need to be rebuilt. Restart your PC, then follow the instructions in my sig to do so.

The patch is included in the game client. You don't DL the patch separately.
This specific error message is caused by WAR.exe being in use by another program (your extraction tool, torrent, or the game client still running), or because the file cannot by written to by the RoR Launcher which is why it needs the Read-Only file property disabled.
If you can't remove the Read-Only flag and are not sure what process is using the file, reboot your PC and try again.

I reset mine and i still have the same problem, any advice?

Noticed that your borders look like Win10. You might not have DirectX 9 installed. Is that a relatively new PC? Win10 doesn't come with it, and only older games at this point would include it in the installer.
