I'd love seeing Droll flooding the region chat with: "lets be friend", "destro will dance", "we dance" again. :D

Unban everyone as no one deserves lifetime bans - then ban them as soon as they break the terms.

I sure miss constabling about tbh but it is what it is.

I believe quality control on player reports should be enchanced, there have been biased and targeted reports in the past, pointing fingers at GMs or Devs should not be the case, the reports come from the player base. Accumilating sanctions such as mutes due to chat logs can lead to perma bans for the smallest of things, and this should not be the case. The game itself has extreme themes in it and is most definately pointed at and catering adult audiences, getting a mute ( sanction ) for slurs etc x 10 times and getting PB for that is counterproductive to the whole server/community and quite frankly illogical.

C.

P.S : I am supposed to get forum banned also correct ?

No mercy for cheaters/hackers tho.

This is unfortunate but will happen with online games , i have also been threatened in the past accused for even exploit etc but really based on nothing, probably some guy angry at me for killing him in the lakes or not realizing his own lag problems.

When players have invested a lot of time/energy into their grind & characters it is important the GM.etc act harsh against those with the intention to act immoral and slander others. To abuse and report someone without solid evidence should always imho carry a warning in itself, in a deterrent purpose.

P.S. Of course if someone is a proven cheater, should never be allowed back, common sense.

I am rather ambivalent toward this issue. If the decision is made to reverse the bans and let everyone back in then fine, whatever. My only point, as I have discussed prior on my stream, is, what exactly do you think is going to happen?

Let a serial offender out of prison and what do you expect them to do, take up needle-point?

Like the survey you did a little while ago said i think its time to let banned people at least get a chance to appeal to get back in. I'm not saying let everyone back. I'm saying let them at least get the chance. GMs decide yes or no if they deserve a 2nd chance.

Thoughts?
Cheating and exploiting game for me is unforgivable but maybe some behavior and chat banns could be given a second chance but of course with monitoring because one thing I really like in RoR better than AoR is that bullies and trash talkers slowly slowly get what they deserve and the rest of us can play the game in peace :)

Personally I would not go that far but close.
I would not unban players caught cheating / hacking.

I would review the infringement scaling as a reason to ban, this has been seen to be used by less scrupulous players as a means to ban ppl. Would consider mass reporting and directed reporting to be infringement of the rules.

Infringements should drop off after time,
Reporting without valid justification should be infringement
Players banned using this scaling system should be unbanned
Make reasoning for bans more visible and reduce gm “opinion” weight,( we’ve currently got the feeling there is some lack of neutrality )

I might be coming from the other end of the spectrum.
But the rules seem pretty fair, dont be a douce, play the game fairly, report if you find anything gamebreaking and kill eachother ingame.

If someone fails to follow those rules, they get reported and to my understanding there is an escalation system where you mutes, bans, quitter gets longer the more you misbehave. So do we really need to bring back people who failed several strikes of bad behaviour, A perma ban is perma right? For a reason. They crossed the line, had their chances.

I would assume that the escalation steps would serve plenty of chances. Othervice what signal does it send, ah sure you got permabanned but here come have at it again.
