Yeah i totally agree the game should have rewards past 80, i have numerous 80 chars all kitted out and i never play them because they no longer progress.
I don't want extra stats i just want awesome cosmetic gubbins, if you see a rank 90 player and he has this amazing unique armour set that only lvl 90s can get, players will think wow that guy is badass, hes clearly played alot!
As ive said before, have guild mounts unlock at rank 90 to buy would be a good example.
Maybe you can buy the Griffon/Manticore mount at 100.

I do hate to say it, but I don't like the idea that people are encouraged to play only one class in this game. From a gaming perspective, it's beneficial to see other classes and understand what they can do. Socially, in a community, people who are inflexible with their class choice are generally hard to engage with.
Finally - I wish the game would sum up the RR account-wide but with limited use in certain tiers.

As someone who think juggernaut is the coolest mount in the game I would like to receive that as rr90 permanent mount. So in short rr90 ranked class mounts as permanent would be nice. Manticore/Griffon i think is nice to keep the way you obtain them now as permanent.

Wait ... people actually play and have a goal to reach those ranks? The time commitment is just not worth it. I hit 80 on a toon and after that I rarely play it.

It really depends. Some find joy having gear that they need to grind for and some enjoy playing their fully stacked toons. Personally I find both to be valid reasons to play the their own way :)
