Healer Renown

You get 0 renown for healing. You share renown with your party whether you heal or are afk. It's incredibly frustrating when you're out running supplies alone (maybe there's no warband), you heal some guy so he can get a kill, and you get nothing. It's even more frustrating when you are not only healing, but actively being attacked (so both healing and tanking). Zilch.

It's one of the reasons I abandoned my RP in T4.

Not getting renown currently for healing outside of Warband is not intended and a bug. At least you are supposed to be rewarded with Renown if your healing targets get a kill.

There is no fix for it yet but it's on the schedule.

i was always so stunned by the change i found it hard to imagine it was intentional.

leveling a healer outside of a group is a joke. As a dps, you can tag a target that dies and get renown and chance of a drop (solo) as a healer healing your but off to keep people alive / rez etc you get minimal 8rp and 0 chance of loot roll.

Fix the game. Take a poll how many people don't heal out of group or rez out of group because it is unrewarding. The least loved archetype in the game gets the crap.

I can kill a guy ungrouped as a dps and get 500+ renown up to 10K with AAO. As a healer healing that guy, i would get about 8

Yep ror caned the heal renown pool (seperate to kills renown) solution that worked quite well in war to balance the population pf healers and non healers

So as a healer (tank as well to some extent ) you are forced to group

Yeah, it was like that on live because the developers understood the need to incentivize people play healers and also to heal people outside their own party.

Personally, I find it that if you're doing your job, healing, ressing, you should get renown nonetheless.

It's not a healer's fault that the dps is subpar or nonexistent; the healer is still doing its task keeping them alive and should be rewarded accordingly.
