I think there is. I don't know if those were ever meant to act as destination flightmasters, though. Anyone recall?

Yep, chapter 8, Bohsenfels. You can use it to fly back to the T2 WC/Altdorf after farming influ in either Chapter 9 or 8, but you can't fly to it from any other point.

yeah there is one in Bohsenfels ( for order ) and destru got theirs in their chapter 8 as well.
Every Tier had 2 Flightmasters at the beginning. Mythic made them unavailable pretty early on live. Don't remember exactly why though, probably because everybody was using them instead of taking the long route through the RvR Lake to reach battle objectives.

Grinding investigation on BH those days were a pain....but the 10 minutes shuttle wait had a nice social aspect to it.

A way to counter this is to require people to unlock the flight master first by going to the chapter by foot. The way Mythic used to regulate these unlocks was to only make the next tier of flight masters available per 10 levels, to actually get people to the RvR lake they needed to be as soon as they hit the minimum level. T2 in Ostland/Troll Country is an exception to this, though, because the locked flight masters are only for PvE purpose.

Like i said i don't remember exactly why they did it, but i think it was actually because the community asked for it. Back in the days the lock system was different on the live server. You had to hold all keeps + bo's ( remember something about 30mins ) + some other stuff like sc's/pve/kills ... .
If you lost 1 BO ( even if you we're able to retap it ) you had to wait for another period of time ( i really remember something about 30 min) to be able to lock the zone.

The problem in this matter was that seconds before the lock 2 WB's showed up from nowhere tapped the BO and left again for the next 30 minutes. The second Travel Point made that more easy, because you attacked one BO, got wiped used the Flight Master and could attack another BO on the other side of the Map in a realy short time. That made it often almost impossible to defend but i kinda liked it because it was more tactical and you could prevent locks even as huge underdogs relatively easy.
