RoR.builders - Sorcerer Probably best single target dmg in game with this spec=) 4 onslaught + 4 sovereign and bloodlord wpn to add 27% crit dmg and 9 free crit! senti/triupmh jewelry with 4 crit talisman and good to go

Shaman has one cone aoe insta cast + 3 dots. One damage channel skill.

rSH has 4 instacast ST damage skills + 2 dots. Also one damage channel.

so it means that rSH got 2 more instant if the dot are instant

plus there is a passive with sh "all by myself" that allow you to play without pet with more dmg

pet does dps while you're CCed.
run skill requires pet alive.
pet provides buffs also u can buff pet dps.
you can eat pet for small heal.
It's pet class.

petless tactic is for lazy downgrade version.
removing hassles for easy play.
or alternative against pet killing counter.

and there's disrupt/dodge.
sometimes how you react are more important than what instant you have.

you are right but if the game mechanics say 25% more damage ("all by meself" tactics) it's a great compensation even a great additionnal dmg over losing pet features

Not really, you lose more than you gain. If you consider to play without pet, pick shaman.
