Very good thread, says pretty much everything about talismans you need to know. The only thing I can add is, on destro there's literally one Res based DPS you will need to defend against, sorc (and on order it's BW and fester bombing SW), so armor defends you against pretty much everything that'll attack you, specifically ST groups not based on WB witch elves (forgot about those, mb).
