While public quests were fun comparing wars pve to swtor or gw2 its easy to see the real reason this game failed. While the world and ip is amazing the pve was beyond terrible. They went for quantity over quality.HoeLeSchitt wrote:I'm curious as to if people would prefer more ORvR zones, whether T2 or T3, or for the devs to fix all Public Quests. I for one loved PQs during live and would prefer to see them functional to add some small level of PvE. Thoughts?
I can agree with that, but I can't tell you how many times in the two days I've been playing RoR that people have asked if PQs and influence have been fixed. At the very least it provides from variety.Telen wrote: While public quests were fun comparing wars pve to swtor or gw2 its easy to see the real reason this game failed. Look at the release date of WAR, SWTOR and GW2. WAR actually made huge impact on those games, and on WoW, with PQs, open parties, ToK etc. There wasn't similar game in terms of open world PvE to WAR back in 2008. If you want to talk about bad PvE in WAR, look at instanced PvE. Even though; I'd like to see return of all PvE content, including instanced PvE. It still provides gear variety (especially in t2 and t3) and of course because of nostalgia reasons.Telen wrote:While public quests were fun comparing wars pve to swtor or gw2 its easy to see the real reason this game failed.
