3 hours later and only 310/1850 on a 100Mbps line. Averaging on abysmal 100Kbps DL speed. Non sequitur.

Edit: Took me 5 hours in the end and this was many hours after the event.

It did legitimately take quite a bit longer when the patch first dropped and everyone was using the same bandwidth.

That's not bad. During peak hours we were getting 15-30KBps

Took me 4 hours, because I was patching as it went live, not hours after it was over.

I was one of those who patched the moment it went up and it took 40 minutes.

The time to patch is drastically different from one person to another, based on when did you start patching of course. There are people who took 40 minutes, others who took hours.

Again this wasn't something we really hoped to make you experience, but as mentioned yesterday in several places, we are actually working on the game files to be in a proper cloud with a faster bandwidth. We couldn't do that before because we were waiting for the cities patch.
