Can't update and launch the game since last patch

Had this problem as well.
In installation guide there is a link to RoRLauncher.exe
I downloaded it and game updated and started as normally.

Spot on, thanks mate.
Before trying this, I tried installing DirectX9, same result as before.
Tried playing with my antivirus, same result as before.
Ensured both installations had "write" access (just to be sure), same result as before.
Redownloaded RoRLauncher.exe, took a bit of time to get the connect button to turn yellow but it eventually fixed it for both installation. I suspect the file got corrupted for some reason. The game now launches, I have gone as far as character selection (no time to play now) but it looks like it is fixed
Last thing to do is to remove one of the installations, wait for my little princess to go to bed and enjoy some battlefield action.
