All classes can go solo. It's the player the one who refuses to.

The real problem comes when they get lotd pockets and even it you catch them with rd they wait it out and then use the no dodge/disrupt pocket and cc/kb whatever so even a lucky dodge wont save you.

grumcajs wrote:Resolute Defense is a must. It grants u 10sec immunity to CC. If u manage to jump on lets say SW, almost all of them would try to rkd you or try that self-punt. When u r under effect of RD, they wont be able to self-punt. Against some players its free kill cuz they are confused before they realize whats going on, you can pummel them hard. Especially with no-rage drop tactic

Same confusion can be applied to heavy crit related classes (WH, BW) when u hit them with 10sec crit immunity. Not to mention Torment spammers when u land 5 sec cd increase.

But as was said - choppas and slayers are probably the worst possible choice for solo, second only to dps zealots (though they are hell lot of fun too)

EDIT - RD isnt choppa ability - its renown ability u can train from renown trainer once its working

one choppa ability might be a bit helpful vs. rkd - detaunt, if u somehow time it right. though its kinda meh...if Im not wrong it last only few secs and as only detaunt in game its "based" on your intelligence so it would get disrupted very often. in ideal world u would spot rkd incomming (when in melee range or close to it), pop detaunt that would allow you to survive, hit shrug it off, charge and pray SW wouldnt hit flee to keep the distance...
self punt still triggers with RD buff on wouldn't say dps zeals/rps aren't one of the worst they have good dps kiting+ 50% dmg reduction with tactic snare as well.

Iv'e played with some choppa's that used to roll solo they die alot but seem to have fun and do get kills it's more based on not getting face rolled by rdps or the rare melee sw need resolute defense if you are going to solo and prob whatever their self heal is when you can get it i forget the name of it

This pretty much sums it up.

If you don't mind dying a lot, then yeah Choppas can be really fun for soloing. If you are a DK *****, roll a DPS AM/Shaman.

DK doesnt work. Pity. At least enemy keeps your kill vs deaths.

Slayers allot easier to solo on then chopper, I've soloed on both and can say this for sure it just has better tools for it. That said soloing on any melee class is about picking your fights, success will come from experience knowing who's dangerous and who isn't.

I would say, just get a buddy to pocket heal you. 1v1 gets boring fast anyways... 2vX on the other hand doesn't get old as fast. ;)

Just FYI
