Re: Woe and Rune Scribed Items
When it comes to BiS items everyone becomes egoistic and greedy, at some point. though I saw some players who already got more blue items than greens which is just insane to me. farming is still the big deal in this game, what is sad because many people hoped the opposite since T2 was out

Indeed I remember that people were more than happy to give out free gear and let you join their farm parties even if it's majority their guildRenork wrote:
Order definitely has nice players.
Compared to destro who will tell you to basically **** off if it's a guild farm and other nonsense like today when I try to buy a woe item from a guild mate who wants 50g for it, the same item I got as a drop a week back on another toon that I gave to him for 8g so I can buy a mount.
I think I'm just gonna give up on woe gear cause when you got the best gear possible you can blame nothing but your self when you **** up, over extend and die

Re: Woe and Rune Scribed Items
The difference between green drops/vendor gear and woe/rune scribed is minimal, it will make a slight difference but its hardly worth fussing over. Good players will still be good and bad players will still be bad no matter which stuff they are using.

the same were said when galerunner/bloody times ruled and the people will still farm & cry their guts out to get BiS gear.Morf wrote:The difference between green drops/vendor gear and woe/rune scribed is minimal, it will make a slight difference but its hardly worth fussing over. I can help you farm on my magus. Farming in general is just so incredibly boring though. I have seen people argue at IC over gors, I do think destro players are a lot more etilist and have the "i'm the best player" mentality.TenTonHammer wrote:Indeed I remember that people were more than happy to give out free gear and let you join their farm parties even if it's majority their guildRenork wrote:

Re: Woe and Rune Scribed Items
i belive that thier is a pretty nice increase in armor and the stats on woe weapons are better for example clamit bg shield is 180 block but woe is 230 i believe with +23 wp making it the best tanking shield atm for the classMorf wrote:The difference between green drops/vendor gear and woe/rune scribed is minimal, it will make a slight difference but its hardly worth fussing over. All these problem will go away once we get annihilators which is best t2 stuff i belive

Re: Woe and Rune Scribed Items
There is more of a community 'were in it together' thing on order even those with big egos happily group up with anyone. Des seems to be made up of cliques with certain players that, though mostly mediocre, have a lot of bum-lickers that follow them around. You see it in scs and on the enemy killboards. Everythings more even for order with only a couple of des getting kills supported by their team and letting the rest of des get farmed. Mostly losing because of this lack of faction mentality.

****, everyone on destro is so **** cut throat and only looking out for number one that getting woe is gonna be such a pain even my guild mates don’t really care about helping each other out.
Pity I cant go back to ordo and nice guys at SoD, ordos just such a boring faction with interchangeable looking characters and classes...and boring mounts
So what you're saying is you find the 3rd person view of Order mounts unattractive, so much so in fact, that your are prepared to leave behind the pure and altruistic Order playerbase and instead prefer to play with nasty, selfish and uncouth players on Destro on the proviso that you get a far more attractive view of the rectum of a hog/lizard/disco-disc?

Also, I think Order would fare WAY better if they weren't fixated on killing that ONE lowbie chosen/BO/BG who charges them rather than pushing past his weak a$$ and killing the healers and squishies. This was an issue in live, of course -- But I've never seen it this bad. Last night, in an SC, a full group of Order 20s retreated when a 13 chosen charged them while they were "guarding" the mid BO in Nordenwatch. That group included a WP and RP. Destro only had one healer, who was 16. Seriously? Destro was LOLing and I can't blame them.
On this post's topic: A skilled player can kill almost anyone with crappy gear. A poor player consistently gets owned even if wearing the best gear. So no, I don't think Woe is worth it, unless it's for bragging rights. And I don't understand that, either, esp in an alpha.
