There is one thing people forget about arcing swing which needs to be pointed out repeatedly - this is the core of your build as 2h, the reason to play and how you contribute the most. It is therefore not effective if you only hit half the targets you can with it. It does not work well if you have low STR. You need str if you want to hit anything in the melee ball. Yeah you will land your arcing swings on healers and low defense backliners, but your attacks can and WILL be parried if you have low offensive stats in the frontline, rendering the core ability that you build around useless against those targets in the meleeball.
