Well share than. As far as I realized all mobs now drop blue and below items... and champions and heroes have a bigger chance. I dont remmeber enough of t2 to know where are all the "good" champion and hero mobs but maybe someone can fill that gap for me.

I was under the impression all mobs have a chance of dropping grey - purple loot, no?

Yes, all mobs, and Players for that matter, drop loot matching their level range. Nifty thing with the recent hotfix, player dropped loot is collected automatically and Need on Use is applied if in a scenario.
Champions, Heroes, and Lords drop at a higher proportional rate, but still the same things.

Okay good. Yes, I did see a few rune-scribed pieces drop today during a Mandred's capture attempt
