If you search most broken class in game then marauder is for you.
Mara is like choppa but with much more better survi and easier to play.
Choppa is mostly support class now.

Lots of cities see Maras doing really high damage. Everything is gear dependent of course.

Both wanted in all types of rvr. Ranked 6s I think mara gets the short end a bit.

Both will literally drive you insane if you dont have a team to work with while levelling including a tank and a healer. Mara is quite a bit tankier, but still no fun solo.

Both classes are good but lvl 16 mara wont hit hard yet,
you need 40+ full spec with finisher, wounds debuff and armor debuff to hit hard and the tactics.

choppa is a meme class you never want one if going very sweaty mara wins every time for 6v6 for rvr who cares its brainless and all you have to do for any class is spam 3 buttons

Mara easy to play hard to master

I play both classes so I see major differences betwen them.
Choppa is easiest to play on destro side, is always wanted in any game content, has good sustain single target and AOE damage, but thanks to rage mechanics You have to manage it and exhaust/detaunt whenever You are focused and take lots of damage.
Marauder is harder to play if You decide to maximize his potential which require heavy stance dance. While choppa spec for savage+wrecka and he is ready for any game content, marauder must chose which role he want to be. Savagery for debuffs, brutality for burst and monstrosity for AOE damage/debuff. While mixing those trees your role differ. Savagery/monstrosity is ST and AOE debuff and AP drain, sav/brutality for ST debuffs + burst damage or brut/ monstro for solid ST and AOE damage. You can modify this even further by investing different mastery points here and there.
Both classes are fun to play and they synergies well together. If You prefer something more simply and straight forward I suggest to chose between choppa and melee Squig which is still great alternative.

Wasn't crying, just stating a fact. There is a reason SH are the only non-stealth class you see solo roamining. So if someone wants to play a DPS that doesn't need to be babysat, a SH is an option.
