Work ram, tank lord and fill your roll. Thats all you need to do. I main a BO tank and i have no issue with bags, as long as i am on time to a siege. Work more.
Work ram. Check
Tank lord. There's a problem. For me to tank the lord I need to use the +threat tactic, which is a PVE tactic, which means that if u used it before u entered the keep then you didn't quite fill your role as u said. Without the +threat tactic, spamming the taunt, challenge and sunder doesn't allow me to take aggro, or only if I'm the first to tag lord.

Anyway, thanks for the advice!

unless other tank have menace it's possible to tank keep lord w/o it.
every tank have threat generating spammable melee attack. knight's version is Sunder.
spam it with taunt, challenge.
and good mdps to steal his aggro with guard.
Good ol Black Orc Clobber.

I am healing and rezzing tons of player in forts but when it comes to contribution iam ending up in the 120-159 place and that feels strangely low.
Would a GM mind to check the fort contribution formula if healing actually contributes please?

It's not just you. I am playing a Salv WP. Rez, group cleanse, heal tons of damage, loads of OOP healing as well but in Forts I often end up 200+ if we lose Fort. Last Fort defense won I got.......64 :P and that was a LONG battle to keep Dest out. Really bullsh*t when all the tanks do is protect and the MDPS stand around most of the time waiting for people to push in. I can only assume RDPS are always the winners since damage is damage is damage which is constantly being done (but yet so is healing). If healers are healing as much damage as is incoming we should be getting top spots but nope. I wonder if the problem is over healing. You want to do as much damage as possible since is ALWAYS counts but you don't want to wait for the WB or your party to start drastically dropping in health so you are continually attempting to top off the tank, resulting in a lot of wasted numbers.

This is a flaw in the system imho. I'm not saying to count the over healing but heals should count for more simply because of the need to keep everyone at 100% and knowing there will be wasted heals.

This can also happen even in keeps, especially when fighting the lord because you usually have WAY too much healing for what the Lord is putting out. This means you usually have 10+ healers just waiting to pounce on ANY damage done, again resulting to both over healing and healing nothing because you weren't quick enough to heal that AoE damage.

In city, you need better tank/dps to heal. your contribution is depend on them.

AFIK forts contri revolve around flags. defendig flags gives more contri than taking flags. also, the more you defend a flag the more contri you get, it's like exponential growth

As a Sal WP I have no issues with contribution, in PUG or G/A WBs.
