Giving them the RP buffs might be the easiest way, but then you exclude group buffs from balance considerations between RP and AM.

I think my solution is quite easy, would improve balance overall and I see no disadvantages. playstyle would be different, but not neccessarily worse overall. I think its justified testing this a bit.

Absorb proc on being hit
Life steal on being hit
Something to do with ap (group wide cost reduction or something?)

Yean, could work. Goal of my proposal is increasing in-faction-balance. I think this can be achieved with the resistance buff swap.
Adding some totally new group buffs requires to get them in balance in between themselves (so no buff is the obvious choice, while the other 2 are basically garbage in comparison) and to define how they affect the general gameplay. So much more work to achieve in the end the same result (increased in-faction-balance).

makes solo am and shaman all the more better because everyone invests enough into heal tree for puddle

besides kotbs is just too good to not take no matter what you change.
